I just need to knowWow, Harold. That's a super-entrance like in Batman comic books.
I guess the food is for Shaw. Why else the problem?
Oh, I see what Lambert's doing. Spiral fracture seldom occurs in simple accidents, it's usually domestic violence. And of course Samaritan can figure that out. Machine did. What does make me wonder is why they're showing off? Why that woman?
Wow! They're going to make that guy off himself with insulin due to wrong measures? Neat.
Oh. Oooohhhh... don't listen to them, darling...
Hhhhholy funk.
Is this AI flirt, or what?
That lovely packing may just blow up in their faces. Too many criminals together... Besides, human population is a self-balancing system, it doesn't like enforced order. They have the city in a state of unstable balance, and I fear something's going to push it...
I kind of like Root's flirting-molesting style of operation, when it's not turned at our guys...
But can't those two communicate directly? Samaritan talks to his folks, the Machine talks to hers... they surely could do without human facilitators. Colossus - Guardian, anyone? It's a classic!
Besides, anyone can talk to the Machine. She'd probably listen, too. It's just she won't talk back.
Still, she sent those coordinates.
Maybe it's the "human choice" kind of situation?
Okay... something did happen. Were they forcing the Machine into revealing herself by threatening so many people she'd have to scream?
Young Greer was kind of hot. Is it wrong to instantly ship him with that one assignment target?
Samaritan's playing dirty. Or rather, I believe it was Greer's idea, so Greer is playing dirty. Or both. Who cares.
Explosion, Harold?
Gah, why can't they converse directly? Root's the one who goes, I guess, isn't that endangering her? And Harold? Will she expose Harold?
I do like Greer's flashbacks... he's styly and spectacular.
Third sound of armed weapon got me cracking. Sorry, John. I know it's serious, just...
Fffffunk. I guess Samaritan wants Harold after all. Dammit, dammit, dammit.
Oh. Oh! Still Root. Not Harold. Okay.
Then I know who's talking on Samaritan's side. His own human interface, Claire Mahoney.
Whoops! Not Claire. A kid.
Ffffffunk. Samaritan certainly cannot blackmail the Machine into abandoning her team? She must protect Admin and assets, but her primary function cannot be wavered either. Finch made her this way. She has to risk them to a degree.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFUNK! Samaritan's ruining market! It's gonna be bloody apocalypse!
Team Machine, guys... don't be dead?
