Paused before the start. Having a bit of coffee. Not like my liver's going to thank me, but we programmers have our weaknesses. Should follow Finch's lead and drink green tea, I guess. Only old habits die hard.
sad, sadder, angryLook, I get it. On some level, it's good that John didn't go to this operation. Because now Finch and Shaw are both in there, and John is outside, potentially able to save them. Only he has no idea where they are, and whether they need saving.
I also now understand why the Machine doesn't talk to him. Because he doesn't care. For him it's just a device. Me, I talk even to my computer. Stuff like "oh, come on!" when it slows down, and "please, do" when processing something tasking, and "hey, you alright" when there are odd signs like harddrive clicking and sudden unexpectable freezes, and so on. And that's knowing it doesn't receive my words in any quality, since I don't run any speech recognition software. If I knew it's actually listening? I'd be talking to it all the time, no matter whether it responds or not.
Reese just doesn't care. And he knows she listens. He yelled at her quite enough. But he doesn't care to talk. So she won't.
Which is a pity.
What the Machine does is feel an active need to protect Admin. And since she's no longer having her personality erased, she's finally doing something about it. It's only logical that Root will be the one saving Harold this time.
I only wonder how did she get in contact?
Both of the girls seem to be skipping Hersh when firing their shots. With Root, I guess the Machine recognizes him as an asset to the program, but Shaw?
And now, the Machine has got Admin out, how about saving her human interface, huh?
Oh, Harold. I hope the air supply isn't limited.
A pity about the bank worker. Girl's got unlucky, but now she's going to bleed and suffer right in front of Finch, and he really doesn't need that on top of everything else.
Wow. I just had a bout of love for Fusco. Going for the kill. Just what I said, John should be sorry. Well, it looks like Fusco just made him.
And Shaw just keeps making me laugh in the most inappropriate times. *giggles*
Yeah, right, help her. She did save your Admin. Do something.
I don't particularly like Root, although she has those moments, but, for one, she is on the Machine's side. For another, she always fiercely protected Harold (after that one case when she kidnapped him).
Powerful threat, but Root still can get a Cochlear implant. An awful lot of pain, though. I wish it didn't happen.
Oh, it's a brilliant, wonderful thing that Vigilance doesn't know about Harold's Machine. Shows that he's always been right about being so private and having so many aliaces. Nathan mocked him, and where is Nathan now? This other guy didn't do that stuff, and there they are going after him. Harold's cool. He has to be alright.
John still should be sorry.
Also, hopefully Fusco's coming. They could use an extra hand.
And I really hope Root kills her.
Stomping them with a foot might be an ineffective way to kill drives. Information can be recovered. They had to throw them closer to the door, at least.
Oh, finally.
What if he was a second too late? Biting the bullet wouldn't have cut it, nu-uh.
Finch: Mr. Reese, I am inordinately happy to see you.
And he is. So much emotion in his voice. And his eyes, and those broken glasses. I want to frame this moment and keep it somewhere. Stuff like that doesn't happen to normal people in normal life.
Wait. Harold left his dad a book about birds, and no one's caught up with his naming pattern? How dumb should they be?
How heartless is that? Carter, died because of the Machine? The fact that they had numbers was the only reason she got Quinn to FBI and not got killed before doing anything.
I'm really, really mad at John Reese right now...
