Reese is being more than unreasonable. And other developmentsAnd that is kind of beyond heartless. Has John sustained brain damage from bloodloss? Leaving Harold so distressed that he walks past the goddamn payphones! That's something...
Harold will deal with it, of course, he's a strong person. Doesn't make it less heartless.
HOW in the all bleeding hell?!
Guess Root doesn't even need a corded phone. That's scary, you know?
Harold Finch is a cruel man. Good, kind, but cruel.
I know I've already said that, but.
The odd thing is, his reaction to that Claypoole is a bit too strong. Could he be one of the guys involved with the Machine on a lower level of creation process?
Oh no no no no no. Can that be Finch's father?
Oh dear, that kid is Finch. Isn't he adorable? ![](http://static.diary.ru/picture/1177.gif)
Aaaand here comes Samaritan. I genuinely don't know what it is, aside of being a supercomputer of sorts, possibly somewhere on par with the Machine - and isn't it nice of Finch to not even give it a name - but I do know that it means trouble.
I need subtitles to even understand what kid Harold says. Isn't that cool?
Can't be his father, though. The age doesn't add up. Harold's dad looked about forty, and had a failing memory too, and now Harold himself is nearing fifty, so that would make his dad, what, at least eighty years old?
And Harold seems to be an only kid, so not his brother, either.
Okay, just friends. That's fine.
But the man is dead, anyway. His agency learns he's been to an unknown location talking to hell knows who, they'd off him. Besides, there's that bit with terminal cancer. Well, hopefully not on Harold's watch...
Oh, that's lovely singing. *giggles*
Shaw: John's gonna be sorry he missed that.
Too true, Miss Shaw. And he should be sorry. He really should. I would understand him holding a grudge when that thing with the leaked laptop was revealed, but this time there was no Finch's fault, only Carter's personal crusade which got her killed. Almost got John killed, too. But there wasn't an ounce of Harold's fault.
Suppose something happens to Harold when John is on his self-assigned vacation, then what?
Aaaaand Samaritan's got everything Harold's denied his Machine. Daaaaamn.
Oh. Oooooooooooh. I did suspect there was something fishy happening, but then both Shaw and Finch accepted her as the real thing and I let it pass. But...
OH FUNKEN HELL. So that's the "ma'am" Hersh answers to.
Good thing Harold always keeps his cover and the folks don't know he's the one who did get the Machine done.
Or maybe they know from the bad old guy who saved Stanton. Damn.
Oh for the love of nature, Harold, do you always have to physically shield those people?
John should be sorry. Very sorry. Something did happen. Nothing tragic, yet, but "it's not yet evening" as the saying goes.
That, however, does leave us with a question: did Harold have something to do with the missing drives?
Did Root?
And oh dear, can the Machine launch Samaritan?
