Some of the fanfiction are just weird. Like, I read about Carlos being a trans-man twice. Funking twice. What's wrong with them people? Why do they have to do that to a character described as perfectly masculine?
I mean, they did it to Garry in Ib, and well. That made sense, because, damn, female pronouns in the canon. Kinda like Grell. Not that I like it, but hey. Justified.
But Carlos?
One of those two fanfics also has Cecil wearing a dress. A sundress.
I mean, I'm game for alien anatomy, tentacles, whatever, because hey, the Voice of Night Vale, but he's also described as a man. Wearing mens clothing. Last time I checked, gay didn't equate to crossdressing.
